Gun Violence in America- What Can Be Done?


This past week, there was another mass shooting- this time at a Community College in Oregon. 13 were killed.

President Obama again addressed the nation and expressed his frustration calling on legislators at the state level as well as in Congress to pass laws that might help curtail gun violence in America. In our Bill of Rights, the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution protects the right of Americans to bear arms, but to what extent? That is determined by laws... and when those are challenged, by the interpretation of the courts.
